All students (unless specifically opting out) are a member of OUSA if they are currently studying a course.
OUSA is a large organisation with a widespread membership. We aim to represent the views of Open University students whatever they study and wherever they live.
We are a membership led organisation run by students for students. We are an apolitical organisation and we prize our independence which allows us to concentrate on the educational and support issues for our members. As distance learning students it is important that we can share our experiences of Open University life and studying.
In addition, we aim to give our students a sense of belonging to a thriving university community. We have a network of local branches where students can meet each other.
